Current Work
As a Privacy Manager, I work on governance, operations, and practical risk decisions that teams can actually use.
Privacy Manager | Lawyer in Colombia & Ontario | CIPP/C
This site is about two connected paths: working in privacy and sharing my journey from NCA candidate to lawyer in Ontario.
Privacy
As a Privacy Manager, I work on governance, operations, and practical risk decisions that teams can actually use.
I want to help make privacy feel less isolated by creating space for peers, newcomers, and professionals to learn from one another.
My legal training across Colombia and Ontario shapes how I think about trust, accountability, and practical guidance.
NCA Journey
My legal path began in Colombia and continued in Canada through the NCA and Ontario licensing process. I receive many questions from internationally trained lawyers trying to understand what that transition can feel like.
Carrying my legal training from Colombia into a new professional landscape meant learning what translated, what needed rebuilding, and what was still mine.
The process asked for structure and patience: understanding requirements, studying consistently, and staying grounded when the path felt unfamiliar.
Licensing was also a personal transition. It changed how I think about resilience, belonging, and the quiet work behind professional reinvention.
Now I want this site to become a place where privacy professionals and internationally trained lawyers can find context, encouragement, and community.
